Tyrometer: Pronunciation [tahy-rahm-e-ter]–noun, singular – Tyrometer is a system of measuring your effectiveness in identifying and understanding the habits, style, and behavior of the people with whom you work so you can thrive. Origin: 1605–15; < L tīrō recruit

The site's design was a natural extension of the brand Identity. Clean, fresh and legible. It's what you need for a site that's delivering valuable information.

It was a pleasure working with Kelly and Anita on the project and I'm proud to have created such an amazing brand that presents their insights and clever ideas so well. Not an easy task when you have little knowledge about the world they are trying to speak to. The only thing I remember from the cubicle world is the walls closing in, and my heart pounding fast..and the amazing urge to pass out.. Not until I left the premises and got a few miles away that my body would return to it's normal status. Naturally I didn't last at many jobs for more than a few days with out getting fired. The good ol' days. Back to our post here...lol.. with a little research and through conversation with the ladies we hit a home run! I hope all projects were this much fun.

When I heard the name I just flashed and there it was. I couldn't wait to get to my system and crank it out. I actually sketched it out on a napkin a couple of times last night.

I believe that the best Identities are created when you have a flash of inspiration from above. I take absolutely no responsibility for my best work because of this belief. Some of you might think I'm crazy, but for me..designing logos is like channeling spirits. I've been blessed with the gift of translation.

I am a natural translator of other peoples visions into simple, strong and concise imagery that lasts forever. Imagery that imprints itself in the viewers mind with so much impact that it's scary. Squarekid's logo came out of nowhere, but it's here to stay in our minds forever.

Famos Identity / Fun / Functional / Beautiful

Working with Rent on the Famos Identity was like going to a party and meeting the most interesting people. Why do I say that? Because the hole concept behind famos as a company is completely the opposite of the word's meaning. Needless to say that the final Identity was much much simpler than the one I'm displaying here. But I couldn't get past how wonderful this one turned out.

Honda CR-Z | The new sport Hybrid!
Today Google announced that their browser based OS is coming in 2010 and it's completely open sourced. That means that any developer could be making stuff for it! Great! I'm excited to see this non-os OS! The video is great and I'm glad i watched the whole thing, cause if I hadn't, I might have been a little bit smarter than I am now. Anyways, I hope it comes out and google gets to continue on it's big dream of taking over the world and renaming the WWW, the GGG! Enjoy the video and have a great day.

I love weird. I love it so much that I look for it everyday. It makes my life a bit more exciting. That's why when I found Erin Dollar's site, I couldn't help myself share it. Erin is a wonderful illustrator, designer (I think) and maker of beards. Here is what she does, in her own words:

I make beards. Sometimes I make other things too - prints, drawings, piñatas, and cookies, mostly. I made this web log to keep track of what I'm making, and to share beard-related tidbits... because I like you, and you like beards.

So take a look at this super creative's site and if you fancy one of her beards, you can buy one at her online shop - HERE!!!!
